Returns & Exchanges Policy

We want you to love your purchase! If you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to help.

Returns

We cannot accept returns for purchases from other stores that stock ANTLER NZ items, as we operate as separate entities. Please contact the store where purchased and follow their returns and exchanges policy.

Eligibility: Items purchased via the ANTLER NZ website, can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Items must be in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached. At this stage we do not offer store credit.

Non-Returnable Items: Due to hygienic reasons Earrings, Hair Accessories & Socks cannot be returned or exchanged. We do not accept refunds or returns on discounted sale items or gift cards. All items purchased on Sale are considered Final Sale.

Faulty or Damaged Items: We address any damaged or faulty item claims on a case by case basis, but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution. 

What is covered under manufacturing faults:

We will replace, or refund items with genuine manufacturing faults. These may include:

  • Broken clasps or fastenings on earrings or bags upon arrival or within a reasonable use period.
  • Faulty stitching or construction not caused by external force.
  • Metal discolouration occurring unnaturally within a short time of purchase.
  • Items that arrive damaged or incomplete.

 

What is considered normal wear and tear:

Due to the delicate nature of fashion accessories, some changes may occur over time as part of normal use. These are not considered faults:

  • Tarnishing, fading, or discolouration of metals or hardware over time.
  • Natural wear to fabric, leather, or faux leather (e.g., softening, stretching, creasing, scuffing).
  • Fraying of bag straps or scarves due to regular use or abrasion.
  • Scratches or dents caused by impact or misuse.
  • Loss of earring backs, charms, or other detachable elements after considerable use.
  • Damage due to improper storage or contact with water, perfumes, lotions, or other chemicals.
  • Holes forming in fabric as a result of washing or snagging.

For any faults firstly please contact us with details of the fault or damage and ANTLER NZ team will be in touch to reach a resolution. Please provide your order number and a photo of the item’s condition if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue. 

In the event of a faulty or damaged item we will also refund the original shipping fee. Items that are received broken or faulty will either be replaced by ANTLER NZ or refunded in full.  

If for any other reason you are unhappy with your item, please contact us within 14 days. 

Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received your return. If a refund is issued you will be refunded back on to your original payment method. It can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Exchanges

  • Quick & Easy: Need a different size, colour, or item? Contact us to start an exchange.
  • Processing: Exchanges will be processed once the original item is received and checked.
  • Stock Availability: If the desired exchange item is unavailable, we will notify you. 
  • All exchanges will be at the discretion of ANTLER NZ.

 

How to Start a Return/Exchange

  1. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how to return your item. Items sent back to us without first notifying us and requesting a return may not be accepted.

 

Shipping Costs

Returns: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

In the instance your order is returned for a refund, any complimentary shipping costs that are offered at the time of your order being placed may be deducted from your refund amount. This includes shipping costs originally covered by ANTLER NZ under free shipping promotions.

Return shipping for any faulty items will be arranged and covered by ANTLER NZ.

Exchanges: You may be charged for any additional shipping costs incurred sending out your exchanged item at the discretion of ANTLER NZ.
